Failed to laod module

Postby timroes » Wed Jan 20, 2010 10:02 pm

Hi,

i have a P690 running on an Ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit System.
I downloaded the right installer and installed it. No Error messages appeared.

Then i restart the Xserver and get following Error:

Code: Select all
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 06@00:00:0
(EE) No devices detected.

I tried now several things and noticed, that the installer doesn't actually change the xorg.conf, even if i please it to do so.
So i dont know, what i can do now, that i get a working xorg.conf file.

Thanks for your help!

Okay, I'm sorry. My stupid fault :D Didn't read, that the xorg.conf isnt directly places in /etc/X11/.

Now i copied the generated version there and get several error on loading xserver.

Please again for help!

Thanks
Tim
