Where can I find out about the M-Series on Linux Ubuntu?

Postby dameunmate » Tue Dec 15, 2009 6:11 pm

Hello! I'm completely new to both Linux and Matrox.

Is there any forum/thread with information about the Matrox M-Series on Linux Ubuntu 9.10? I'm curious as to why the M-Series is not on this forum's board index.

I'm trying to install drivers for my Matrox M9138 LP PCIe x16 1Gb card now, it only has mini-DisplayPort outputs. But I'm not sure which directory to put them in. is it /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers?

(Running an ASUS P6TD Deluxe motherboard, an Intel Core i7 920 processor, and a Dell 3008WFP DisplayPort monitor.)

thanks
