[...] is updating each area of my screen separately.

Doh. That's weird... Have you tried to post this issue into a nVidia forum already?

So you mean you could get each screen to have it's own cube (in beryl)?

I don't think that this is possible.
I'm still wondering how the rotating cube looks like on triplehead setups.
Are you able to see three sides of the cube at the same time or is it a
3x3 cube? or something else?

In beryl you do have the multi-monitor modus which you can set to either one big cube or multiple cubes.. someone please enlighten us, preferably with a video

Screenshots would be cool, yes ;) (or at least digicam photos because I can't
imagine how to make a screenshot of a rotating cube ;) )

Yes, I was able to setup 3 separate desktop cubes. Though, I didn't really like the way that "felt". Perhaps it is an acquired taste.

I am not sure how to record a screen-cast, but I'll post some photos or a video of it as soon as possible. You should be able to simulate this effect with a single display on an NVidia card.
Code: Select all
Option "TwinViewXineramaInfoOverride" "426x1024+0+0, 427x1024+426+0, 426x1024+853+0"

I haven't tried that, but I assume it will work.

BTW, sorry about cluttering this nice Matrox forum with geforce details. I figured that the GXM guts would work in a similar way to the Parhilia cards or at least support details for GXM devices would be graphics-card agnostic.

Cheers,
Aaron

The fact that you're using something matrox makes it relevant. I can('t) wait to see pics btw :)
