Hello,

is it possible to save a different image as screenimage for each (different) monitor?

if it is the case, how can i do that?

Do you mean a desktop wallpaper when you say "screenimage"? That mostly depends on the window manager you're using. Basically, in Xinerama
mode it should be possible (I've used that for years on my THI setup). What window manager are you using? KDE? Gnome? Anything else?

I found some threads, f.ex. [http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=331624] where people suggest to make a big picture up of your two individual desktop wallpapers and
use this as one big desktop wallpaper in Gnome. It will look like as if there where two different wallpapers (one on each head), but this is just a work around.

Don't know if there's any sane solution on Gnome, I never used it, sorry.
