P650 LP PCI - RGB enabled TV-Out possible?

Postby uwi_u » Mon Dec 28, 2009 5:17 pm

Hi there,

I'm new to this Forum and having a question concerning the P650-Board.....

I bought a Matrox P650 LP Pci-board for a media-center PC (size does matter ;) ). My Box is a Via Epia MII 12000 with 1GB of RAM. I installed Gentoo, because I'd like to run mupen64plus N64-Emu on it and the Via Nehemiah @ 1,2 GHz isn't that fast at all.....

I need to have openGL 3D-Support for my XServer(mupen64plus then can make use of the GPU instead of software-Rendering) and I would like to have a 15kHz RGB-enabled Output (PAL). Is this possible with the P650 and the current unofficial mtx-Driver?

Regards,
Uwe
