[P650] the easy days are over

I knew I would be back :).

Dear fellow Matrox Users,

I'm back to tell the tale of my P650-life. All was good until the new 2.6.31 kernel was dropped on my Sidux-box. (To be correct: I dropped this package on my box - 4 infos 'but sidux; http://www.sidux.com)

So, it's not mission critical or something, I just like to ride the new stuff.

let's get to the point:
make of the official driver now fails with this error:

Code: Select all
/lib/modules/2.6.31-rc9-sidux-686/build/include/asm-generic/int-ll64.h:11:29: error: asm/bitsperlong.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden = File or directory not found

The complete /tmp/make.log is attached.

Does somebody of You know a hint to resolve this issue?
The offical mtxdriver-Readme says, that it runs only on <2.6.29, but I could run the compile under 2.6.30 anyway :).

Thank You for Your time.

Yours,

Martin

Well, that wasn't too hard :).

Changed line 11 in /usr/src/linux/include/asm-generic/int-ll64.h from

Code: Select all
#include <asm/bitsperlong.h>

in

Code: Select all
#include <asm-generic/bitsperlong.h>

Yeah, Baby!

Thanks for the time it took You to read my post.
