What DVI cables work with Matrox Parhelia 128PCI-E???

This forum is for all Parhelia based cards (Millenium P650, P690, P750, QID, Parhelia 256, APVe, ...) that need the mtx driver to run properly.

What DVI cables work with Matrox Parhelia 128PCI-E???

I just hooked up a matrox Matrox Parhelia 128 pci-e card 2nd hand with no cables. Does any1 know what type of lead i need to run tri monitor setup (3 Lcds with independent images) can i use any DVI- 2x DVI splitter cable or DVI to 2x VGA splitter cable from 1 of the DVI outputs on the card or do i need a specific Matrox cable?? if so does any1 knwo the exact cabel model/make name? Thanks

The Parhelia Userguide should get you an idea about what cables to use:


Basically, a DVI-to-dual-VGA splitter cable should work, but I don't know if
you need to use some special Matrox cable.

Something like this can be found at [http://shopmatrox.com]:
CAB-DVI-2XAF (5,96€), it's the third one from the bottom on the following page:
