couldn't find RGB GLX visual;mtx (1.4.4.4) + Ubuntu Edgy Eft

This forum is for all Parhelia based cards (Millenium P650, P690, P750, QID, Parhelia 256, APVe, ...) that need the mtx driver to run properly.

Yes! Disabling the Composite extension did the trick. Thanks!

So I guess there's no chance to get beryl working? Without Composite no beryl. Without GLX no beryl (Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual) Composite XOR GLX. Oh,my...

Yesterday, I found a c't magazine on the desk of my workmate discussing
Xgl vs. AIGLX etc.
Have to dig a little bit into it, because currently I forgot wheter AIGLX also
requires the composite extension or not, but I guess it does.

So, currently, Xgl/AIGLX on P-series cards looks rather bad at the moment,
I think.
