Problem with MGA Parhelia AGP - Ubuntu 7.04

This forum is for all Parhelia based cards (Millenium P650, P690, P750, QID, Parhelia 256, APVe, ...) that need the mtx driver to run properly.

Thank you :D

It was a little bit difficult for me, because I have to change the nosplash option in Lenny and not in Ubuntu (two operating systems 8) )

But now I see a nice "unbroken" blue Matrox Parhelia Logo and the Ubuntu desktop has no artifacts.

Thank you for your help

Ganz ganz herzliche Grüße

Hmm? I thought Ubuntu wasn't working, so why did you have to change
this option in Lenny??

Yes, Ubuntu wasn't working.
I think my installation of Lenny's grub wasn't perfect. Lenny recognized Ubuntu and asked something like: If above are all operating systems mentioned then it is no problem to install grub to....

But now everthing looks fine.

Thank you, tuxx-home.at

Schönes Wochenende

Ah, alright, so Lenny had the grub bootloader installed and allowed you
to boot Ubuntu too. Therefore you had to change Lennys menu.lst of course.
