Current status of any Smart Card integration efforts?

Postby gman » Wed Jan 13, 2010 10:08 pm

I was wondering if anyone is currently working on trying to integrate pcsd/opensc style Linux smart card readers into the Cisco vpn client. I have an upcoming need to use a smart card with the Cisco vpn client on Fedora as my company moves away from token and pin support. I know the Windows implementation works with M$ CAPI API, but should not the pc card/opensc stuff provide the same function? Or is it just too difficult unless there is a great demand, as I have read a member of the vpnc client team say? Is there a link anyone has to information on any current efforts? I might be able to provide client-side testing...
