Cisco VPN client using Certificate Auth on linux

Postby varu0612 » Fri Jun 12, 2009 6:46 pm

Hi,

Has anybody tried to use/ convert the certificates stored on Windows to Linux so the vpn client can use them ?

The company policy is to use the cisco vpn client together with the certificates generated by the Microsoft Certauth server and even if i was able to export/ import the pcf files i couldn't use the old certificates on linux.

Any idea?

Regards.

I only once used a certification authentication and simply had to create the certificate on my linux machine which worked a treat then.

I'm planning to write a note how to get the client working with digital certificates that were created by Microsoft Certificate server.
