I'm using vpnclient-linux-x86_64-4.8.02.0030-k9.tar.gz
On RedHat 2.6.18-194.11.1.el5
I'm running the vpnclient with taskset as I understand it doesn't behave well with multiple CPUs. I found a reference a few weeks ago which said to use taskset to bind vpnclient to a single CPU. Works better but not perfect...it seems to lock up the kernel with heavy VPN traffic.
I found what looks like a newer version of this package as libvpnapi.so & vpnclient are dated May 12 2009 and the original package I got was all dated June 23 2008
I got the new package from here:
http://projects.tuxx-home.at/ciscovpn/c ... -k9.tar.gz
Not sure where I got the old one.
Can anyone confirm that the change fixes the multi-CPU crashing problem?
