This forum is for questions about all G-series cards (G200, G400, G450, ...) that need the mga driver to work properly

OK, it was worth a try.

Out of [http://projects.tuxx-home.at/mga/docs/readme.txt]:

Code: Select all
How the driver exits to console either int10 mode 3 (default 80x25 text
mode) or the old style vga mode can be controlled by the use of the
UseMode3Vga option. Using this option would return to vga using the
int10 mode 3 return mode.

Thanks for asking,

the actual problem still is there, I don't have an idea how to fix the screwed second screen after wakeup.
But I took your suggesions on how to disable standby into my xorg.conf, so there is no standby at the moment.

Conclusion:
At the moment I circumvent the problem, the price I pay is not to have automatic standby. This is a bit dissatisfying , but I can live with it.

It would also be interesting to know what caused the problem, I guess it was a Xorg-xserver update.

OK, that's kinda dissatisfying so let's hope that Matrox fixes this issue with the next driver version that will eventually be out in six or seven years.
